BOB & CLAIRE GET MARRIED, ETC.
A little piece cut from found footage from my grandparent's wedding and my dad's early years.
2013
RACE ACROSS THE SKY
My first job with Citizen Pictures in Denver was on this feature documentary that tells the story of the Leadville 100, an elite 100 mile mountain bike race. Promoted from assistant to additional editor in one day. Boom.
2010
"DIRTY"
A genre mash-up of Dirty Dancing as a horror film, created for the AICE's "Camp Kuleshov" Film Assistant competition. Incredibly, no awards were garnered for this effort.
2009
VICTORIA'S SECRET "HOLIDAY"
Part of my stint in New York advertising at Moondog Edit, where I worked with clients that included Victoria's Secret, Neutrogena, Lucky Brand Jeans and Huggies. This was my first big project as an assistant editor, and I remember it vividly for its beauty and its steep learning curve.
2008
IT'S OUT THERE
The first documentary I made through the Center for Documentary Studies at Duke University. My partner and I explored the different ways people approach aging and death– a dark topic for such a young woman. I submitted "McKellogg Family Christmas Highlights" to get into the class.
2005
MCKELLOGG FAMILY CHRISTMAS HIGHLIGHTS
My first attempt at non-linear editing. I taught myself Final Cut Pro in the basement of the UNC-Chapel Hill Undergraduate Library during one very lonely fall semester.
2003
INNOCENT INTENTIONS
My first foray into editing. Of the in-camera variety. I also star as a murderous sorority girl. This is a horror film-do not watch alone!
